2021 Annual Food Drive

Our school- P.S./ I.S 45 K conducts annual food drives for City Harvest. Our drive was postponed because we were teaching and learning from home.

City Harvest is a non-profit organization that helps feed food insecure New Yorkers. All food that is donated goes directly to local food pantries, soup kitchens, and community partners across all five boroughs.

People struggling with hunger face a disproportionately higher risk of diet-related disease such as type-2 diabetes and heart disease. #GiveHealthy works to combat this issue by offering a variety of produce options in combination with non-perishables in order to provide food insecure individuals with a more balanced diet.
